Role(s) in BANR:
Task 5 – Extension & Outreach

Tim has been a forest products utilization and marketing forester for the Colorado State Forest Service for 13 years. In this role he is responsible for program delivery and administration of the Colorado Wood Products and Utilization Program. Tim supervises one full time CSFS education and outreach forester, two Colorado State University graduate student employees and small business and renewable energy consultants. Prior to his employment with the CSFS, Tim worked as an Inventory Forester with the White Mountain Apache Indian Tribe in White River, Arizona and as a wood products quality control technician for Dyno Polymers in White City, Oregon. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and a Bachelor’s Degree in Wood Science and Technology and Mathematics Minor from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

Role in BANR: The Colorado State Forest Service will assist in the statewide and regional delivery of extension, education, and outreach activities resulting from the Bioenergy Alliance Network of the Rockies proposal.
