Rob Keefe is Assistant Professor of Forest Operations at the University of Idaho and oversees the University of Idaho Experimental Forest. He has a BS in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire, MS in Forest Biometrics and PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho. Dr. Keefe’s interests cover a range of areas from applied forest operations research on new logging systems and equipment to forest management planning and optimization.
Role(s) in BANR: Dr. Keefe is on the BANR Executive Leadership Team and is working with Dr. Nate Anderson and Dr. Woodam Chung to complete Task 2 activities focused on biomass supply chain logistics. He also serves as the lead PI at the University of Idaho and serves as a liaison for our Idaho BANR study sites on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest and adjacent state and private timberlands.
