Nick Young is a proud native to Fort Collins, Colorado. He is currently a research associate at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory (NREL). Nick has a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology and received his MSc in forestry science from Colorado State University. He has worked on a wide array of research projects both domestically and internationally and has extensive experience with species distribution modeling and prediction. His research interests include habitat modeling, wildlife movement, and risk prediction and assessment.
