Doug Scribner is currently teaching Biology and Chemistry at Newcastle High School. Since coming to Newcastle, Doug has worked to incorporate inquiry activities in his classroom. This work has continued to grow and has enabled students to engage in authentic long term research projects. Students are encouraged to pursue their own work but can participate in other projects sponsored by the school. These projects include collecting snow fence data with the Weston County Natural Resource District or collecting data for Quarknet using a Cosmic Ray Muon Detector.
