Bob Sturtevant worked for the Colorado State Forest Service for 33 years recently retiring as the Extension Forestry Specialist at Colorado State University. In this role he worked with university students, natural resource mangers, landowners and the general public in forest management,forestry education and information sharing. Upon retirement he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for two years at the Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources, Hawassa University, Hawassa, Ethiopia where he assisted in various activities to enhance the education provided by the college. He continues to work in international forestry as well as forest management activities in Colorado and Wyoming. Bob is a Certified Forester and currently serves as the Chair Longs Peak Chapter, Colorado-Wyoming Society of American Foresters.
